Once the Request for On-Site Distance Learning has been submitted, a staff member will contact the parent/guardian within 1 business day to let them know if the request has been approved.
Parent/Guardians of approved students must arrive with them in person on the first day to complete Parent Acknowledgement and Disclosure forms. Copies of these forms can be found at the bottom of the page.Click here to complete the Request for On-Site Learning.

Will transportation be provided?
At the moment no transportation will be provided.

How do I register my child for on-site learning?
Please contact your student's school office to find out if there is space.

What is on-site learning?
The on-site distance learning option, per the Governor’s Executive Order, will be available to meet the needs of students who qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch, or students who receive Special Education Services, or students who are English Language Learners, or students in the care if Department of Child Safety.

Who can attend on-site distance learning?
Only students who are approved through the school Principal may attend. Due to the current COVID metrics, the safest place for your student to learn is at home.

Will teachers be supervising students?
No, students will participate in distance learning with their teachers and will be supervised by support staff. No academic support will be provided on-site.

Will my student be learning at his/her school or a classroom?
Yes, students will be assigned to classroom spaces, cafeteria, or multi-purpose room on both the Primary and Elementary campuses. They will bring their Wilson device and must wear headphones.

Will grade levels be combined?
Yes, this is a possibility depending on the number of students attending on-site and support staff available to supervise students.

Will students be socially distanced?
We will provide a space for students to socially distance. Students will be required to wear a mask, practice proper hygiene and follow the guidelines in the Mitigation Plan.

Will students be required to wear a mask?
Yes, students and staff are required to wear a mask the entire day. If a student does not bring a mask, one will be provided.

Will my child get mask breaks?
Depending on supervision and availability, we will attempt to provide outdoor time where students will be permitted to remove masks for brief periods of time.

Will students participate in recess?
Recess is not guaranteed but will be provided as feasible.

Will students have time to socialize during the day?
Students will focus on their online learning and have limited interaction with peers.

How will lunch be served?
Lunch will be grab and go for the students. They will remain in the classroom for breakfast and lunch.

Will I need to sign my student in and out each day?
No, but only students who are pre-approved may attend on-site distance learning. Attendance will be taken each day.

Will there be crossing guards?
Possibly, depending on the need.

Will I know if anyone tests positive for COVID?
Those who have been exposed to someone testing positive will be notified per CDC guidelines.
