Wilson Elementary School has always opened their playground and field after hours for the community to enjoy as a neighborhood park. Thanks to a collaborative effort with the Sky Harbor Neighborhood Association and the City of Phoenix, AZ USA,the playground turf was replaced. 

The ceremony was attended by Elementary School students, staff, members of the Sky Harbor Neighborhood Association, the School Board, the City of Phoenix and the turf contractors, Play It Safe Playgrounds.
