Safe Winter Holidays

Posted by Antonio Sanchez on 12/18/2020 7:30:00 AM

I hope you and your family stay safe and healthy during the winter holidays. We look forward to returning to some form of normality in the near future. Although we previously communicated that students in the Wilson School District would return to In-Person Learning when the metrics indicate it is safe, this will not be possible for a while. In viewing the metrics, an increase in risk factors occurs after a holiday and if the pattern continues, then students will not be returning to In-Person Learning until January 25, 2021 or later (when the metrics indicate it is safe to return). This estimate of return to In-Person Learning is being shared so you know students will not be returning in person on January 5, 2021 but much later.

However, virtual instruction will resume on January 5, 2021. Additionally, a new page in the Parent Hub on our website has also been added containing numerous enrichment activities for students to enjoy in the safety of their homes. We encourage Wilson families to take advantage of these new resources by visiting: We will keep you updated on our return to In-Person Learning after the new year.
