Return to Learning Parent Survey

Posted by Antonio Sanchez on 2/8/2021

Parents,

I hope this message finds you and your family well. Now that our staff has had the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccination and the metrics are trending downward, we are beginning to prepare for a return to in-person learning. You will be receiving a survey today asking if you will be sending your student to return to in person instruction for the last quarter of the school year (March 18 – May 21). The last day to complete the survey is Feb 15, 2021.

If your student will stay home and continue distance learning, not much will change.

If your student returns to school, I want to inform you the district will continue the Mitigation Plan:

  • Masks are still required
  • Social Distancing to the extent possible
  • Handwashing/sanitizing of hands
  • Temperature checks
  • Sanitizing of classrooms

Please view the Mitigation Plan on the district website for more detailed information.

Our goal is the safety of students, staff and all visitors. To ensure this, we all have to do our part. Parents, it is extremely important that you check your child for signs of COVID such as:

  • Fever of 100.4 degrees or higher, or chills
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Muscle aches
  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Fatigue
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Cough
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • New loss of taste or smell

Keep students home if they exhibit any of these signs. If we all do our part, then we will keep each other safe.
