Response to Governor Ducey's Mask Update

Posted by Antonio Sanchez on 4/20/2021

Good morning Wilson Families,

Yesterday, Governor Ducey issued new guidance regarding the use of face masks at school. However, K-12 school districts maintain the right to institute and enforce policies to mitigate against COVID-19 spread, including the use of masks. Throughout the pandemic, safety has been our top priority. We will continue to follow all mitigation strategies to keep our students and staff safe. Wilson policy on masks will continue to be in effect for all staff, students, and visitors.

It is important to note that the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) issued Emergent Measure 2021-02 today encouraging K-12 school districts to continue to take actions consistent with CDC recommendations to mitigate the community spread of COVID-19. The guidance from CDC and ADHS can be found at

Thank you.
